After applying the WordPress plugin
Disable Canonical Redirection my blog frEdSCAPEs 3.0 based on the WordPress blog engine version 2.7 was up and running again.

Update WordPress 2.7 Failed :-(

Many attempts to upgrade my private blog frEdSCAPEs 3.0 from WordPress 2.6.5. to WordPress 2.7 failed.

I changed my Blog Engine from Radio Userland to WordPress, and located the new born frEdSCAPEs on another server and with another url (http://fredscapes.nl).
Since this is the third edition of frEdSCAPES I call it fredSCAPEs 3.0.

OPML Editor fits for use with WordPress Stand alone

A few days ago Cori Schlegel [elliptical ...] managed to edit his Stand alone WordPress blog with the OPML editor.

Eens even kijken of dit handig is.

Ik was van WordPress afgestapt omdat ik er te veel problemen mee had. Dat was voordat deze online versie werd gestart.

Deze online-versie lijkt heel aardig. Blijft echter mijn bezwaar dat de content niet bij mij is maar ergens in de web-wolk vertoeft. Dus ALS er eens een keer iets vervelends gebeurt kan ik niets meer.

Ik denk wel zeker dat ik het blijf houden bij weblogtools die de content (althans het bron-materiaal waar de content uit gegenereerd wordt) op mijn pc bewaren/laten staan. Dat geeft mij een veilig gevoel.

De enige echte keuzemogelijkheden (in mijn ogen) zijn
